This document outlines the complete, step-by-step repair process customers can expect when working with Hail Team One for auto hail damage restoration. We aim to deliver a stress-free, transparent experience from initial inspection to final delivery.


Step 1: Initial Customer Contact

  • Customer contacts Hail Team One via website, phone call, referral, or walk-in.
  • Basic info is gathered: name, vehicle details, insurance provider, and extent of hail damage.
  • Appointment is scheduled for inspection and estimate.

Step 2: Vehicle Inspection & Documentation

  • Customer brings vehicle to Hail Team One (or we perform on-site/mobile inspection if arranged).
  • Technician completes a detailed walkaround and identifies visible and hidden hail damage.
  • Photos are taken and a preliminary estimate is created using industry-standard estimating tools (CCC One or similar).

Step 3: Insurance Communication

  • We assist the customer with opening a claim if it hasn’t already been initiated.
  • We submit the damage report and estimate directly to the insurance company.
  • If needed, we schedule and host the insurance adjuster’s visit at our facility.

Step 4: Estimate Approval & Deductible Waiver

  • Once insurance approves the repair scope, Hail Team One confirms with customer.
  • Customer is informed of our $0 Out of Pocket policy (we waive the deductible).
  • Free rental car is arranged, and repair timeline is reviewed with customer.

Step 5: Repair Scheduling & Disassembly

  • Vehicle is checked in and moved to the repair queue.
  • Disassembly is performed to expose all affected areas.
  • Supplementary damage (if any) is identified and submitted to insurance for approval.

Step 6: Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)

  • Certified PDR technicians begin dent removal using specialized tools.
  • Roofs, hoods, doors, trunks, and quarter panels are repaired to factory condition.
  • Replacement panels are installed (if applicable) and aligned precisely.

Step 7: Quality Control & Detail

  • Final inspection is performed by lead technician and shop manager.
  • Vehicle is washed, vacuumed, and detailed.
  • Any customer belongings are returned to vehicle.

Step 8: Customer Pickup & Documentation

  • Customer is notified when vehicle is ready.
  • Walkaround inspection is completed with the customer.
  • Final documentation is signed, including warranty info and satisfaction confirmation.

Step 9: Follow-Up & Referral Bonus Program

  • Customer receives a follow-up call/text within 48 hours.
